No. You are not obligated to retain our firm after the initial consultation. During the consultation, the attorney will provide legal advice regarding your matter, and you are free to proceed as you wish.
Please note that meeting with the attorney does not guarantee that our firm will take your case. Just as you may determine that our firm is not the right fit for you, the attorney may determine that your matter is not one our firm is willing to accept.
When you schedule a consultation with our office, you are paying for the attorney’s time and legal advice, not for a guarantee that the attorney will take your case.
We only offer one (1) consultation per legal issue. If you require further assistance after the initial consultation, you will need to retain our office.
Unfortunately, our firm is unable to offer payment plans. The retainer is required to be paid in full in order to retain our firm.
Attorney Georgina Lepe is only licensed to practice law in the State of California. Our firm handles cases in the following counties: Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange.
If the parties are legally married, our firm may accept joint representation. However, if the parties are not legally married, we do not accept joint representation.
In those situations, our firm will represent only one (1) of the parties named in the lawsuit, and the other party or parties will need to seek independent legal representation.
Unfortunately, our schedule does not permit the attorney to travel for meetings. All consultations and appointments take place at our office in Claremont, California, or via telephone or Zoom.
